About Me

My name is Mackenzie Powell and I am a Registered Nurse working in the Intensive Care Unit with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I have an extensive history of writing using a variety of mediums. I have written for several newspapers, created and maintained my own blog, written and am editing my first novel and have worked on a research team with published research on the transition of patients with dementia into assisted living. I am an avid traveler with an affinity for choosing trips off the beaten path that provides me with extensive inspiration for my writing.
